Mahjong Tournaments
麻雀大会I use the same playbook as S.League: format design, sign-ups and running the whole day. It works at any scale.
I plan and run mahjong tournaments, company mixers and social meetups from start to finish. 24 events and 367 participants over four years with S.League. In English, Japanese or both.
A turning point isn't a moment.
It's a place to belong.
Growing up, I never really had a place where I fit. Finding one changed that. It's also where "S.League" came from, a health mahjong community I started in 2022. It's 24 events in now, with 367 people through the door. LUMA Circle takes what I learned there past mahjong, into social meetups, one-off events and any other "place to belong" you'd like to build with me.
Why work with us
Regular communities through to one-off events built for you.
I use the same playbook as S.League: format design, sign-ups and running the whole day. It works at any scale.
Built around a hobby, an industry or a neighbourhood. I pick the venue and set the pacing so people actually get talking.
LUMA's flagship community since 2022. S.League 25 has been postponed; the next date is being worked out.
Got an idea? I'll help you turn it into a plan that works, covering promotion, the venue and how the day itself runs.
Company mixers, club tournaments, private group events. I design them from scratch, so tell me what you've got in mind.
I run the day in English, Japanese or both. That suits international guests and mixed groups.
The flagship community inside LUMA Circle. The motto is "earnest fun".
I started S.League in July 2022. Each session brings 16〜20 players together for genuinely competitive games, without alcohol, smoking or betting. Pros and people who only picked up the game last month sit at the same tables. Everyone takes home a parting gift.
See details →S.League has a set entry fee. Custom events depend on what you need.
What a custom event costs depends on its size, its content and how much of the running I take on. S.League payments go through Square (card) or bank transfer.
Four steps, and I handle all of them.
Tell me what you want to run: scale, theme, budget, dates. If you're joining S.League, head straight to the registration form.
I draft a concrete plan covering the venue, the schedule, promotion and how the day will flow.
Once you're happy with it, I book the venue and take care of announcements, sign-ups and payments.
I run the event on the day. Afterwards we go over how it went and what to change next time.
Whether you're joining S.League or building something of your own, this is where it starts.
