LUMA Path / Service 03

Walking through the real Japan.

Private tours in English or Japanese, anywhere in Japan: Tokyo, Kansai, Hokkaido, Fukuoka. Gluten-free and allergy-aware dining are built in, because I live with food allergies myself.

Overview

Beyond what guidebooks show.

Local air, local food, local people.

I'm based in Tokyo, but aviation photography has taken me all over Japan, from Hokkaido down to Fukuoka. So I know where a place shows its real character, not just the postcard version. Tours are available nationwide, not only Tokyo and Kanto.

I build routes around atmosphere, food and people rather than a checklist of sights. Everything runs in English or Japanese, or a mix of the two. That suits visitors from overseas and people learning Japanese equally well.

I live with food allergies myself, and I've had anaphylaxis. That's why gluten-free and allergy-aware dining are built into every tour, rather than offered as an add-on.

What sets this apart

  • English, Japanese or a mix of both
  • Local-first routes built on atmosphere, not checklists
  • Gluten-free and allergy-aware dining by default
  • Aviation photography spots if you're keen
What's Included

Six tour formats

I build each route around your region, timing, group size and theme.

01

Half-day Tour (3〜4 hrs)

半日ツアー

Asakusa, Shibuya, Roppongi and further afield. The route follows whatever theme you pick.

02

Full-day · Nationwide

日帰りツアー

Greater Tokyo (Kamakura, Hakone, Odaiba). Kansai, Hokkaido and Fukuoka on request.

03

Aviation / Airport Tour

航空機・空港ツアー

Plane-spotting at Haneda or Narita. I can also build a whole day around aviation.

04

Custom Route

カスタムコース

I'll build the day from scratch around what you're into: food, photography, history, anime, whatever the niche.

05

Bilingual (EN/JA)

バイリンガル対応

I switch between English and Japanese as we go, so overseas friends and Japanese family can come along together.

06

Gluten-free & Allergy-friendly

アレルギー対応

I live with food allergies myself, and I've had anaphylaxis, so gluten-free and allergy-aware dining is the default here rather than a special request. That covers restaurant pre-checks, menu reading and emergency protocols.
